Have you heard Washed Out’s “Feel It All Around”? This quintessential glo-fi track goes back a couple years, but I was rocking it on a ski trip this weekend with some friends, and it was new to them. So I hope it’s new to you and you dig it. If it’s not new to you, you’re probably going to play “Feel it All Around” by Perry, GA’s Washed Out (aka Ernest Green) anyway, because it’s one of those songs you put on infinite repeat, slip into a daydream and never want to wake up.
Also, we don’t watch a lot of TV, but we hear “Feel it All Around” is the title theme for Portlandia (a show starring former Sleater-Kinney guitarist, and current White Flag member Carrie Brownstein).
