Legendary producer Steve Albini “wanted to strangle” members of Odd Future after observing some obnoxious behavior in an airport shuttle recently. According to a blog post by Albini, “they piled onto the shuttle late, niggering everything in sight, motherfucking the driver, boasting into the air unbidden about getting their dicks sucked and calling everyone in the area a faggot.” (NME)
In response, Odd Future frontman Tyler the Creator denied the claims via Twitter, “I don’t nigger everything insight… i never say fuck u to drivers… we never discuss how much we are making a show in public, ever”. The rapper added, “me nor anyone i know in my age group know who you are, old ass” and Tyler was “surprised” Albini knew how to use a computer. (Spinner)
In other Odd Future news, the group is turning their photo blog, Golf Wang, into a picture book. (Pitchfork) It should show up on coffee tables at college houses and end tables in advertising agency reception rooms around November 15th.
