Black Keys guy produces Tennis’ tangy new 7″

We’re not surprised that Denver indie pop duo Tennis are offering up yet another tangy-catchy slice of indie pop that a band like, say, The Cults, wish they could sound like (and we’d bet Columbia freakin’ major label Records that signed The Cults wishes they sounded like that, too). Sorry. Where were we? Oh. Tennis. We like them two. And The Black Keys’ drummer  Patrick Carney produced their totally cool new 7″ Origins b/w Deep in the Woods out on Forest Family records on December 6th. And if you like what you hear, you’ll be stoked to know Tennis’ second LP, Young and Old is out February 14th.

About down.caster

Downcaster(s) is not a music critic, he's a music fan. So he usually doesn't talk about music from a "you should listen to this because it's moving art forward" perspective. He likes the "you should listen to it because it kicks ass" perspective.
