As usual, we prefer this UK tech rock team’s more experimental, noisier stuff. Case in point, “Sandpaper” and “The Well” from their new (free) EP, Blanket Rule. “Sandpaper” is certainly the more adventurous of the two, but both take a more jagged, affected course towards pop songcraft than what most normal people are used to.
