Usually when anybody from Grizzly Bear does anything it’s totally rad. Sorry. It’s really that simple. Anytime one of them shows up on someone else’s song (i.e. Ed Dorste backing up Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold) or one of them does an album (Chris Taylor’s solo debut was killer) or whatever, we’re mostly totally impressed. The latest example is the lead single, “Saint Nothing”, from Daniel Rossen’s solo debut, the Silent Hour / Golden Mile EP (due March 19). Rossen’s voice you probably the first voice you hear in your head when somebody mentions Grizzly Bear, and it cuts beautifully through the slow-marching piano in this song.
