Stream Deputy’s raw, struttin’ ‘Filthy Stinkers’

Meet self-described “sleaze rocker” Truck Thunders. He’s got this band (or project or something) called Deputy. What is sleaze rock? It sounds like a cross between The White Stripes, Eagles of Death Metal with equal parts southern rock and glam rock mixed in. It swaggers, it’s raw and we really dig it. Here, go on and stream his latest, Filthy Stinkers.

Sure, what we’re describing sounds a little schticky. And yes, the Filthy Stinkers album cover is very schticky. Schticky fingers. Hahahahaah. Seriously. This album does a remarkable job of straddling the line between bad ass rock ‘n roll and desperate attention-whoring without boring us silly. Well done.
